Hand Washing |

- Wet hands first, then apply soap
- Wash thoroughly for fifteen seconds (the time it takes to sing "Happy
Birthday)
- Include washing the spaces between your fingers
- Dry hands with a paper towel
- Use the same paper towel to turn off the water tap |
Alcohol Hand Rub Video (Alberta Health Services)
- Apply a squirt to one hand (about the size of a quarter)
- cover all surfaces, including spaces between fingers and fingernails
- Keep rubbing hands for 15 to 30 seconds, until dry |
